Silico Manganese

Silico-manganese (SiMn) is a ferroalloy with high contents of Manganese and Silicon. It is made by heating a mixture of the oxides Manganese Oxide , Silicon dioxide, and Iron oxide, with carbon in a furnace. We offer mainly two grades of SiMn for exports. However, we are open to supplying different grades of SiMn based on our customer’s requirements. The 2 main grades we offer are:

Ferro Manganese


Ferro Manganese (FeMn) is used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer for production of steel. We offer 3 grades of FeMn for export. However, we are open to supplying different grades of FeMn based on our customer’s requirements. The 3 main grades we offer are:

High Carbon Ferro Chrome

High Carbon Ferro Chrome which has a higher chrome content, being produced from higher grade chrome ore. The main application of High Carbon Ferro Chrome is use in Welding materials, catalyst, spraying and powder metallurgy.

Low Carbon Ferro Chrome

Low Carbon Ferro Chrome is produced by reducing chrome ore with Ferro Silicon Chromium, typically the chrome contents are minimum 60% with carbon contents ranging from 0.03% to 0.15% sometimes higher depending on the origin. It is used for trimming additions in stainless steel production as well as other specialist applications.

Ferro Silicon

The Ferro Silicon is an alloy which is abundantly used in the steel casting and steel manufacturing process. Depending on the processes, Ferro Silicon can be used as the de-oxidizing agent or as the reducing agent for the production of low carbon alloys.

Ferro Vanadium

The Ferro Vanadium is made up of vanadium, silicon, aluminum, phosphorous and carbon. It acts as universal hardener, strengthener and anti-corrosive additive for steels like high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel, tool steels, as well as other ferrous-based products.

Ferro Silicon Magnesium

Ferro Silicon Magnesium alloy is one of the most important input in the manufacturing process of Spheroidal Graphite Iron and find usage in low carbon grades of steel due to their low carbon content.
